Who am I? I am Ms. Americas reigning 2021-2022 Ambassador Virtuous Woman; a Queen representing a Non-Profit organization serving our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) Community of Veterans, families and youth needing trauma services. We provide psycho-educational workshops & one-on-one life- coaching support & mentoring programs to strengthen, rebuild, & renew social emotional intelligence to:

As an author, behavior change specialist, Chaplain and school psychologist, I continue to wear the hats of Mother of three, grandmother of 13, and great grandmother of 2, and a wife for 26 years to a Naval Veteran.
This project is my Ministry of obedience to my Author and Finisher. It is my act of service to the families and children in our communities that are experiencing transgenerational trauma from years of a lack of understanding or direction for guidance to heal or redirect trauma based mental health concerns which limit and affect learning and appropriate social-emotional interactions. I began my career at the Western Institute of Domestic Violence Center in Sacramento in 1994. I am grateful for this agency which opened my eyes and doors to the intense work which started me on the path of growth in the area in healing for adults and children. Both group work and individual interventions strengthened my understanding of how and what our communities are struggling with along the lines of social emotional communication and trauma informed care.

This book was written to support educators, parents, and counselors with reaching our youth through a nurturing, validating, mindset to be influential in the lives of our youth as we go through these times of health disparities, social dilemmas, and emotional development to encourage student learning.
WHAT IS TRAUMA?
Trauma is defined as an event or series of events that physically and/or emotionally threaten, a person’s self-regulation that has lasting adverse effects on an individual’s functioning, physical, social-emotional, or spiritual well-being. Trauma has long term affects. If trauma is left untreated, life choices, experiences and emotional and physical well-being can suffer throughout the life span of an individual.
The stories in Timeless Healing: An Anthology are designed to help our child/children to experience healing from life’s traumas. Children are like custom homes; genetics, life experiences, sensory wiring is different in each one. These stories will reduce fear & support disclosure, correct damage & strengthen self –image. Therapeutic stories serve a variety of purposes. They are entertaining and generally short enough to hold the interest of the listener. More importantly, they give messages which talk directly to the unconscious of the listener with directives about love, power, and healing. Building strong moral character. Because the conscious mind, rather than the unconscious, generally interprets written and oral language, it is important that those who utilize these stories in therapy understand the messages since they are directed to the unconscious. This understanding is necessary to change stories already written or develop new ones.
